Universal Yums Box- Scandinavia

We received our first Universal Yums box and this month's country was actually several small Scandinavian countries!

First we tried this little truffle from Sweden.

It says cookie dough on the wrapper, and wow! My husband and I both agreed it might be the best truffle we have ever tasted! I definitely recommend it! The combination of sweet and salty really gave it a strong cookie dough flavor! The inside is nice and creamy and tastes just like gooey cookie dough.

Next we tried these crispy cookies from Denmark.

They were really tasty and have a light crispy sweet flavor with the chocolate between the two crispy cookies! I liked how it wasn't overly sweet. 

This Icelandic Draumur bar was really tasty! The flavor was a mixture of creamy chocolate, with some caramel flavor, and a yummy hint of saltiness.

It also had this cute little cat pattern on it. It looks like the cats are wearing crowns!

The Finnish salty licorrice bar was the most...interesting flavor! It tasted like chewy black licorrice with more saltiness. So if you are a huge fan of black licorrice, you might enjoy it!

These Norwegian chips were very tastey! They combine onion, tomato, paprika, and chili pepper spices, creating a unique flavor that is different than typical American barbeque chips.

This swedish gingerbread toffee was pleasant. It tastes like eating a super chewy gingerbread cookie or ginger snap. 

Lastly, these Danish chips were also tastey and have a very nice crunch! The flavor was hard to nail down. It reminded my husband and I of salt and vinegar chips but more mellow and with other yummy spices.

If I had to choose a favorite sweet and a favorite savory, I'd choose the Swedish cookie dough truffle and the Norwegian "American Grill" chips. 

It was fun trying all of these new flavors!
